Viasat is seeking a Project Coordinator to support planning and execution of projects in a Creative/Marketing setting. The individual will also help onboard and administer our corporate digital asset management (DAM) system across the Marketing team and to other Viasat groups. Organizational skills are key and the ideal candidate for this entry level position will be focused but flexible, and is adaptable to changing priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Independently oversee tactical logistics and other details relating to projects he/she is supporting

  • Support the onboarding and ongoing administration of our new corporate digital asset management tool (DAM); build a library of Marketing assets as the DAM scales

  • Create training material and train new Viasat users as we make the DAM tool available to others

  • Photo shoot planning and logistical support (both product and application) for business areas/marketing managers requesting shoots

  • Oversee and maintain a vast Marketing library of images, illustrations, icons that will eventually live on the DAM

  • Play an active role on the Marketing project management team by collaborating with the team on process improvements, ensuring quality across the brand

  • Support print requests by negotiating pricing with vendors, working with the design team for artwork support, and ensuring a quality end product

  • Reporting, purchasing, and processing invoices for the Marketing/Creative team

  • Actively track status, progress and issues on projects using Workfront, our online project management tool


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Business or related field

  • Strong “soft” skills; the ability to be professional and friendly but firm

  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage competing priorities

  • Able to lead, influence and motivate others within their sphere

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Flexible; able to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to proofread accurately

  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestic
